• Was an Italian painter.
• He was born in Florence.
• He was the second of the five sons of the Florentine painter and architect, Santi di Tito.
• He specialized in portrait painting, including small pencil portraits, on which he was much employed by Cardinal Leopoldo de' Medici.
• He also finished several of his father's paintings that were left in his studio after his death, including the Last Supper which is now in S. Marco.
• His biographers suggest that he was deeply affected by the death of his older brother Orazio, which precipitated his own demise.
