Pere Lembrí (active in 1399-1423)

• Was a Spanich international Gothic style painter.
• Lembri was active in the regions of Tortosa and the Maestrazgo. • Pere Lembrí is documented as a resident of Morella, capital of the Maestrazgo, until 1407, the date on which he moved to Tortosa.
• The painting of the Virgin of Milk with the Child, Saint Bernard of Clairvaux and Saint Benedict of Nursia, possibly painted for the Cistercian Monastery of Santa María de Benifassà in Bajo Maestrazgo, could come from the same Castellonenese region.
• The tables of the Dormition of the Virgin and the Pilgrims and sick people in front of the tomb of Saints Pedro and Pablo, in the Museum of Fine Arts of Castellón, pieces of an altarpiece of unknown origin.
