Onofrio Loth (1665 – 1717)

• Was an Italian painter.
• He was born in Naples in 1665 and died there in 1717.
• Loth trained in Naples in the workshop of Giovan Battista Ruoppolo, one of the major Neapolitan still-life painters.
• He subsequently worked in Rome, where he collaborated with important painters including Sebastiano Conca and Francesco Trevisani. 
• Best known for still-life painting, particularly elaborate depictions of fruit, grapes, fish, game, and other natural objects.
