Jiří Hammerle (before 1544 - † after 1576) and Jeroným Hammerle († 1586)

• They were painters active in Bohemia Moravia in 16th-century.
• Jiří was born in Olomouc.
• Around 1544 he came to Brno from Olomouc.
• His son Jeroným Hammerle took over the craft after his father Jiří Hamerle.
• Jeroným Hammerle was admitted to Brno in 1584, where he became a respected.
• During 1582 he married Salome, daughter of the Brno court clerk  Jindřich Ratzl, who after 1577 moved to the office of the Moravian chamberlain Hanuš Haugvic of Biskupice.
• Jeroným married his second wife Justina around 1585 and had a daughter Regina with her. 

• He died on 8th November 1586.

• Hammerle apparently died relatively young from the effects of an illness.

• In his will, he mentions his mother Veronika with a bequest of 10 gold pieces.
