The Museum of the Convent of the Barefoot, inaugurated on December 18, 1981 in the heart of the Rimac, preserves one of the most important viceregal and Franciscan heritages in Peru. Guarded until today by the Franciscan Fathers of the Missionary Province of San Francisco Solano del Perú; Its chapels, cloisters, works of art and historical spaces reveal five centuries of faith, tradition and spiritual life.
