Prague Castle, Imperial Stables Prague, Czech Republic The Imperial Stables at the Prague Castle are situated by the Northern Gate (Pacassi Gate). They were built by Emperor Rudolph II. in the 16 th century.
There used to be stables already in the era of Emperor Ferdinand I. Habsburg.
The Imperial Stables were restored in the 20 th century. It was decided to make it an exhibition space in 1990s. The Administration of the Prague Castle organizes exhibitions there at the present time. Also concerts take place there, there is enough space for 350 seats.
