Henry Hulsbergh (1670 - 1729)

• Was a Dutch engraver and printmaker.
• Born in Amsterdam.
• Active in London from at least 1709 until his death in 1729.
• He is best known for engraving architectural subjects and illustrations for important early-18th-century publications, including Vitruvius Britannicus, Britannia Illustrata.
• His engravings document some of the most significant buildings of Georgian Britain, such as the Royal Naval Hospital and the Queen's House.
• According to historical accounts, Hulsbergh died in May 1729 in London after suffering a paralytic fit and was buried in the Savoy area of the city.
