Camilla Guerrieri (1628 – after 1693)
• Camilla Guerrieri was an Italian painter.
• Originally from the Duchy of Urbino, she was initiated into art by her father Giovan Francesco Guerrieri.
• When Vittoria della Rovere moved from Pesaro to Florence to become Grand Duchess Consort of Tuscany, she took Camilla with her as a painter.
• At the time Camilla was already married to the castellan of the fortress of Pesaro.
• The artist's service at the Medici court lasted twenty years.
• When Victoria died, Camilla became the beneficiary of an annuity from the Grand Dukes.
• She returned to Pesaro, where se remarried and opened a shop. • Camilla Guerrieri died in the parish of San Terenzio.
